KONVOY Dev Log Week 10: Real-World Testing and Launch Preparations
Hands-on testing yields valuable insights as KONVOY approaches public launch, with key features implemented and exciting content plans in development.

The waitlist remains steady as we focus on refining the beta experience:

While the numbers haven’t changed, we’re seeing increased engagement from our existing beta users.
Talking to Customers
This week marked an important milestone in our testing process as I had the opportunity to conduct side-by-side testing of KONVOY with a popular navigation app during actual drives with friends. This real-world comparison provided invaluable insights into our UX and helped identify areas where KONVOY shines and where we can improve.
Direct user observation and feedback during actual usage scenarios are proving to be incredibly valuable for our development process, reinforcing the importance of real-world testing in building a product that truly serves our community’s needs.

How We’re Feeling
Despite the hectic pace and busy schedule, there’s a growing sense of anticipation and readiness. The MVP feels increasingly complete, and the question “why isn’t this launched yet?” becomes more pressing with each passing week. The addition of pre-loaded routes and reusable route features will provide valuable initial content to draw users into the app.
The focus now is on creating a rich ecosystem of routes and content that will make KONVOY immediately valuable to new users upon launch. While the development journey has been longer than initially anticipated, the additional features and refinements have significantly strengthened the product.
