Current KPIs

The waitlist continues to grow as we enter our beta phase:

• Waitlist/Beta signups: 24 🚗 (up 6 from last week)

This significant increase in signups is encouraging as we begin rolling out beta access.

Talking to Customers

This week, I attended the remarkable Gearheads for Zach event, organized by Car Community Connection. The event, supporting a 15-year-old fighting osteosarcoma, drew an impressive crowd of hundreds, possibly over 1,000 vehicles of all types. It was truly inspiring to see the car community come together for such a meaningful cause.

While networking at the event, I received valuable feedback about KONVOY. The primary concern raised was regarding VOIP connectivity, particularly during mountain runs where internet connectivity can be spotty. While VOIP can function on relatively weak signals, this feedback has prompted us to consider:

1. Conducting more extensive testing in low-connectivity scenarios
2. Potentially exploring peer-to-peer communication systems as a future enhancement

• Beta Launch: Successfully launched KONVOY’s beta version, a crucial step in getting real user feedback
• Navigation Enhancements:
  • Improved route visualization
  • Map recentering functionality
  • Driver profile viewing on map taps
  • Custom styled map interface
• VOIP Improvements:
  • Updated layout integration with new map design
  • Added push-to-talk option
  • Implemented mic toggle feature
• Technical Updates:
  • Implemented usage analytics and crash tracking
  • Fixed various bugs identified during initial testing
• Branding: Finalized an initial app icon design (subject to future refinement)

How We’re Feeling

The momentum continues to build as we start 2025 strong. Attending car events every Sunday this year has been incredibly valuable, providing constant motivation and insights from the community. Each interaction reinforces the importance of what we’re building with KONVOY.

Reaching the beta launch milestone is a significant achievement, and the progress we’ve made is extremely encouraging. With the public app store launch on the horizon, there’s a palpable sense of excitement about KONVOY’s future. The combination of technical progress and community engagement has created a perfect foundation for the next phase of development.
