Current KPIs

We’re starting to see the seeds of interest grow as we progress with KONVOY. Here’s a snapshot of where we stand this week:

  • Waitlist signups: 11 🚗 (up 2 from last week)

Though the growth is modest, it’s exciting to see progress from our early content outreach efforts. The steady addition of waitlist members validates that our concept resonates with car enthusiasts.

Additionally, I’ve started leveraging a new social posting tool, PostBridge, to streamline sharing updates across platforms like LinkedIn, Threads, Twitter, and BlueSky. Early results have been promising, sparking meaningful conversations that wouldn’t have happened otherwise.

What’s Been Done & What’s Next

✅ Recently Completed:

This week, we achieved several key milestones:

  • Mapbox Proof of Concept (POC): We’ve completed the integration and customization of Mapbox for KONVOY. The POC showcases our ability to display routes, see vehicle placements, and navigate with precise location tracking. This is the foundation for some of KONVOY’s most exciting features.

  • Onboarding Flow: A comprehensive onboarding experience is now live, ensuring new users can seamlessly get started with KONVOY. This includes:

    • App overview and explanation.
    • Profile setup to personalize the user experience.
    • Permissions requests for location, microphone, and notifications.
    • Garage System: Users can now add and modify vehicles in their garage. This feature not only gives others in the convoy insight into what each user is driving but also sets the stage for future personalization, such as tailored navigation settings or vehicle-specific recommendations.

Completing these steps enhances the user journey and sets the stage for deeper feature implementation.

🚧 In Progress:

  • Drive Wizard System: Work has begun on one of KONVOY’s cornerstone features: the Drive Wizard. This system will guide users through the entire process of planning and executing a group drive, including:
    • Route Building: Creating routes tailored to group needs.
    • Group Invites: Inviting and managing participants for a convoy.
    • Participant Tracking: Displaying real-time updates on who’s in the group drive.

This feature aims to simplify the logistics of group travel while making it intuitive and fun for users.

How We’re Feeling

This week brought a mix of satisfaction and anticipation. Completing the Mapbox POC and onboarding flow were major wins, showcasing the app’s evolving potential. The garage feature, in particular, feels like a game-changer—it’s a glimpse of how KONVOY can provide a highly personalized and community-driven experience.

The Drive Wizard is an ambitious system that will require thoughtful design and testing. While it’s still in the early stages, the potential it holds for simplifying group drives keeps us motivated.

On the outreach front, the addition of PostBridge has been a welcome productivity boost, making it easier to maintain consistent communication with our growing community. Conversations sparked from these posts are inspiring and provide valuable insights into what car enthusiasts want from a platform like KONVOY.
